Meet Eva

ELSynergy Voice and Speech Services was founded by Eva Lukkonen Sullivan, speech pathologist/voice specialist and vocal coach, to help those in need get their voices back and, for some, get the best voice of their life.
As a former opera singer performing in Southern California and a speech language pathologist specializing in the diagnosis and rehabilitation of voice disorders, Eva understands that when one is experiencing voice difficulties or finds that, for whatever reason, he or she just can't acheive the level of vocal quality that they need, life seems to be at a standstill. If you are finding yourself in a similar scenario, help may be closer than you realize.
Eva is passionate about making the diagnosis and treatment of voice difficulties in all types of individuals--from professional recording artists performing to millions, to grandparents reading bedtime stories to their family--available, accessible, and affordable, no matter where you are.
"Eva's training is a must for anyone who is looking to make a career singing or performing."
- Jake Mappes
What is ELSynergy?
MM MA CCC-SLP
Eva Lukkonen Sullivan, MM MA CCC-SLP came to her current role as founder/CEO of ELSynergy and speech pathologist specializing in voice from the background of a singer and performer in opera and musical theatre. She graduated from the University of Southern California as well as California State University Long Beach with advanced degrees in opera/voice, where she performed the roles of Dorabella in Cosi fan tutte, Angelina in Cenerentola, and Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible. She performed roles with the Aspen Opera Theatre including Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro under Maestro Harry Bicket, and sang with numerous opera companies and symphonies in California, including Opera Pacific, Long Beach Opera, Townsend Opera Players, and the Bakersfield Symphony. Her experiences and training led her to work with vocal pedagogue Dr. Joel Ewing out of Los Angeles, who inspired her to turn her attention toward not only training the singing voice but helping singers and professional voice users who have injured or lost their voices get their voice back. She was selected for the prestigious Clinical Fellowship at the Emory Voice Center in Atlanta, and it was there that she continued to gain invaluable experience in voice and its care.
